(More customer reviews)The color of this feeder is nothing like the picture. It's actually a nearly opaque dark purple. There is no way to check the level of the contents without taking it down. The copper base is a thin stamped cover over a cheap plastic bowl with easily stripped threads. It is very cheap looking. If I had seen it in a store, I certainly would not have bought it. For the price, it is an extremely poor value.
