(More customer reviews)This is a handsome feeder and looks extremely practical.BUT, the feed doesn't empty out of the hopper and we have to put our hands in and spread it around when the level gets to an inch or two of feed.The convenient flip-top for filling is rather narrow - too narrow for our coffee cans to fill without spilling. AND, snow and rain blow under the flip top.
Less than a year old, and we are looking for a replacement already. Just too much of a hassle to use. We've been feeding birds for 30 years and are woefully disappointed in this beautiful but ineffective feeder.

Mixed seed barn style post mount feeder with 25-pound capacity. It has a convenient flip-top for easy refill. 16-1/2-inch w by 12-3/4-inch h by 20-1/2-inch l. Stovall products feature all cedar construction, stainless steel and dichromate plated screws, washers, hooks and chains, hand sanded, assembled with screws, many products coated with wood protector which accents the wood grain and the natural warmth of cedar. Environmentally green practices - hand sorted down graded lumber. The Shop is heated with scrap wood, cooled with natural shade and insulation, nestled in a glen among 25+ acres of beech/maple/oak forest. Rumored staffing of woodland gnomes with a payroll of nuts and berries is still not factual.
