(More customer reviews)I'm an amateur concert percussionist, and I needed a chirping bird sound effect for a concert (pastoral introduction to the William Tell Overture; think classic Warner Bros. cartoons.)I found a YouTube clip which demonstrated the sound that this little widget makes.It fit the bill.All you do is twist the handle back and forth, and friction with the wooden parts and resin powder makes the sound.
Would it fool a real bird?Dunno.Is it a clever little device for less than $10?Yes.
