(More customer reviews)I've used a lot of different hummingbird feeders over the years and this one is by far the most outstanding one ever.I've used it for 3 years now and so far it's holding up great.It feels very durable and is extremely easy to clean.
The bottle portion has a wide mouth so you can get a brush in there easily, and the base comes apart into 2 pieces.The hardest part to clean is inside the feeder holes, but I found some nylon brushes at Harbor Freight that are used for cleaning paint spray guns that work great for cleaning the black gunk out of them.With other feeders I would have to soak them in bleach to clean them as there were so many nooks and crannies where black gunk would build up in and I couldn't get a brush into them, not so with this one!
You can see in the picture that the perch wraps all around the feeder and should stand up to years of use, unlike the flimsy ones that easily break after a while.Also the 10 feeder holes are elongated (oval shaped) so if you are lucky enough to have orioles who visit your feeder too they can easily drink from this feeder.
You can find this feeder for under $5 at Walmart during the spring and summer, they also have the 32 oz model.The 32 oz model bottle seems flimsy to me though so I stuck with the 16oz model.
