I have used them for several years and the hummers love them.They are easy to clean with a small sponge mop and allow the hummers to spread out among the window boxes -- stopping that pesky fighting they are so prone to.The bee guards work as well as any bee guards do -- eventually the yellow jackets will find a way in.I place one feeder on either end of each window box and one in each hanging planter, along with Perky Pet suction-cup window feeders on each window.We usually have at least thirty hummers all summer long at our home in the woods in northern New Hampshire.Hanging the feeders on window boxes and windows keeps them high enough to be out of reach of the local bears, a big concern in our area.
