(More customer reviews)I have had trouble with bird strikes and tried a variety of things such as moving feeders/bird baths away from windows, and making sure that the arrangement of houseplants and furniture did not allow birds to "see through" the house and make them think there was a safe passage through.This helped, although I would still get strikes on bright sunny days.These decals have helped for those strikes on sunny days where the birds seem to be confused by the glare from the sun or reflection of the sky in the windows.
Most people will have to try a few different strategies to figure out what works for their situation.These decals appear to prevent strikes on sunny days and you will need several decals for each window.

Our decals contain a component which reflects ultraviolet sunlight. This ultraviolet light is invisible to humans, but birds see it as a brilliant glow - much like a stoplight.To the human eye, the decals appear as frosted or etched glass. The decals measure approximately 4" across, and are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window. As a rough guide, we recommend 1 decal for every 3' x 3' section of glass.CONTENTS: 4 Decals per Envelope.
