It is very well constructed, and is quite weather resistant. It looks nice, and the birds are attracted to it.
Sturdy, rugged, and very attractive! The orange slices stay in place until you remove them. You can spike any kind of fruit or bread where the oranges go. I've sliced up cantaloupe, and even spiked sliced bread there.
Be creative. The birds really enjoy this feeder!
