(More customer reviews)After filling our beautiful Heron Willows Teahouse birdfeeder with black thistle seed, the etched herons stood out dramatically. We set it on a hook outside our dining room window and waited for the show to begin.
In less than a week, we had six or more pairs of beautiful goldfinches vying for their turn at the feeder. They are competitive little critters, especially the bright yellow males. So in addition to watching them eat, we are constantly entertained with their effortsto unseat their rivals and gain access to the food.
When the goldfinches take a break, we simply enjoy the elegant design. This is one feeder that feeds the soul as well as the body. We heartily recommend it!
